Salary: up to £110,000 + equity
We’re working with a scaling HealthTech startup building software that genuinely improves how primary care works in the UK. Their platform is already used at national scale, helping clinical teams act earlier, work smarter, and deliver better patient outcomes — without adding complexity or admin.
As the business continues to grow, they’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys ownership, impact, and building production-grade systems that matter.
💡 What You’ll Be Working On
This is a product-focused engineering role where you’ll ship real features, not endless prototypes. You’ll work closely with Product and Design, influence technical decisions, and help set a higher bar across the engineering team.
Expect autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to shape how things are built as the platform scales.
Your Day-to-Day
Build and ship scalable, reliable software used in live healthcare environments
Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions
Partner with Product and Design to turn real-world problems into elegant solutions
Improve code quality, testing practices, and delivery standards
Support and mentor other engineers through reviews and collaboration
Balance speed with long-term maintainability in a fast-moving startup
What They’re Looking For
Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer in product-led teams
Comfortable owning features end-to-end, from design through to production
Pragmatic mindset — you know when to move fast and when to slow down
Solid hands-on experience with modern web/backend stacks, such as:
Python, TypeScript
React or similar frontend frameworks
Cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Clear communicator with an ownership mentality
Bonus: Exposure to HealthTech, regulated industries, or B2B SaaS
