QC Inspector
Poole | Full Time | On-Site Day Shift – Salary £DOE
We’re recruiting for an experienced QC Inspector to join a well-established engineering manufacturer producing precision machined components and assemblies.
This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring parts and finished products meet strict quality and engineering standards through detailed inspection and testing.
QC Inspector - Key Responsibilities
Inspect machined parts, sub-assemblies and finished products against engineering drawings
Use inspection equipment including CMM, surface plates, comparators, thread gauges and handheld measuring tools
Carry out goods-in inspections and support final product testing
Produce inspection reports and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
Support calibration of gauges and inspection equipment
QC Inspector - What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a QC Inspector within manufacturing or engineering
Strong experience using manual inspection tools and CMM equipment
Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
QC Inspector - Desirable
Experience with Mitutoyo MCOSMOS or Aberlink CMM software
Exposure to NDT / NDE inspection methods
Calibration experience
