CNC Turner – Late Shift
A well-established precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join its late shift machining team.
This role involves setting, operating and, where appropriate, programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality components to exacting standards.
CNC Turner - Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday, 4.00pm – 2.00am (40 hours paid)
CNC Turner - Rate:
£22.00 – £24.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
CNC Turner - Key Responsibilities:
Set and run new and existing CNC programs (Fanuc control)
Complete machine set-ups in line with company procedures
Carry out first-off and ongoing quality checks
Ensure parts are finished and deburred to required standards
Create or modify Fanuc programs where required
Liaise with production and tooling teams to optimise methods
Complete daily machine maintenance logs
Support corrective actions and quality initiatives
Uphold Health & Safety, 6S and Lean manufacturing standards
CNC Turner - Essential Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a production environment
Multi-spindle CNC turning experience
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
Experience with live tooling
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Good organisation, time management and concentration
