Service Desk Support (Bespoke Software Support)

Salary:up £30k Depending on relevant skills and experience plusPrivate health care, Death in Service, flexible hours, company bonus scheme and more!

Location:Poole, Dorset (hybrid working between office and home)

Connect-IT is exclusively partnered with an international SaaS company delivering bespoke software solutions with offices in the UK and Canada and is looking forService Desk Support tobe part of an experienced and enthusiastic service desk team. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, you’ll need to be a skilled and flexible person who can hit the ground running.

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

·Providing application support for all my client’s products through to resolution, escalating

·issues to senior team members where necessary. Including on-prem instances, as well as maintaining/monitoring and supporting our cloud-based services.

·Management of tasks and cases in Salesforce/Freshdesk, ensuring all notes and details are up-to-date and accurate.

·Aiding the development department with Azure cloud functions, including creating VMs, and Azure AD instances for testing, inTune, and SQL.

·Creating VMs on the in-house test benches for bug validation.

·Devising creating and robust solutions at the pre-installation stage with the project

administration team.

Skills and Experience:

·Experience of working in a customer-focused support desk/call centre environment.

·Experience working with PABX telephone systems (Desirable).

·Experience supporting bespoke software applications in a commercial working environment (Desirable).

·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.

·Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.

·Experience supporting cloud-based services in a managed service environment(desirable).

·Ability to work accurately and methodically, with keen attention to detail.

·Able to concisely explain issues to highly technical internal developers for assistance.

Experience of the following an advantage:

Cloud support, Microsoft Azure, PABX Systems, Telecoms, Bespoke software support, Problem-solving/Troubleshooting, Customer Service, SQL, VOIP/SIP.
