Senior Software Engineer
Reporting to: Software Manager
Salary: £50-55k Dependant on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (3 days WFH/2 days in office)
Location: Bournemouth
Connect IT has partnered with a global technology leader and due to increased demand, we have a requirement for an experienced Senior Software Engineer.
Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will need to work closely with other developers, QA, and the Customer Support team, and maintain effective communication with internal staff and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Working with other Senior and Lead Developers to constantly review and improve processes.
·Resolution of issues from customers and the product backlog.
·Development and testing of new features.
·Maintenance and improvement of product and technical documentation.
·Turning contractual requirements and user stories into deliverables through requirements gathering.
Required:
·Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering in C++ or C#.
·Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
·Proficient in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
·Experience with Atlassian toolset and workflow, including Jira and Confluence.
·Commercial experience working with .Net / wpf / Unity.
