Working Pattern: Onsite, occasional remote

Summary:

The Connect Group has partnered exclusively with a long-term client and we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead multiple Scrum teams comprising Software Engineers, Software QA Engineers, and Product Owners. You will be responsible for guiding these teams through sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Essential Functions:

·Schedule and facilitate key agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, stand-ups, product demos, and retrospectives.

·Identify and remove roadblocks affecting sprint commitments and product feature delivery.

·Mitigate conflicts to ensure resolution and manage changes in direction, priorities, and expectations.

·Ensure stories are well-defined, estimated, and verified to meet acceptance criteria before sprint end.

·Set expectations and influence team member conversations and decisions.

·Enable teams to become self-organized and deliver consistently on sprint commitments.

·Maintain metrics and provide visibility to stakeholders on plans and progress.

·Provide training on agile methodology to ensure teams practice core principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience acting as a Scrum Master

Proven track record of commercial software releases (Software experience is a must for this role)

Experience with new product development and continuous improvement environments.

Experience in fostering collaboration and communication to support geographically distributed teams.

Experience in implementing sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and retrospectives into an existing team.

Experience using Azure DevOps or similar systems for backlog and sprint management.

Understanding and practice of working in regulatory-compliant environments
