Lead ERP Developer
Location: Poole, Dorset (on-site)
Salary: £50k - £60k
We are seeking a Lead ERP Developer to design, develop, and maintain customisations and integrations for our client's ERP platform. This role is central to ensuring seamless connectivity between their ERP and other critical business systems while aligning technology with the organisational processes. You will leverage modern development practices while working deeply within the Acumatica framework.
Key Responsibilities
• ERP Development: Design and develop custom screens, fields, and workflows within the Acumatica platform using its native customisation tools.
• System Integration: Implement and maintain robust integrations between the ERP and external systems, including CRM, WMS, BI tools, and e-commerce platforms.
• API Management: Use REST/SOAP APIs and middleware to ensure high- performance data exchange.
• Data & Analytics: Create and optimise Generic Inquiries, reports, and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
• Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Support & Maintenance: Manage system upgrades and troubleshoot issues related to customisations and integrations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical designs and manage version control via Git.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
• Core Development: Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework/Core.
• Web Technologies: Strong experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web-based UI development.
• Database Management: Advanced SQL and database design skills, specifically within a SQL Server environment.
• Data Formats: Deep understanding of JSON and XML for data exchange and API payloads.
• Technical Frameworks: Understanding of ORM layers (specifically PX.Data) and familiarity with cloud concepts, particularly Azure.
• Methodologies: Proven experience with Agile methodologies and version control.
Desirable Skills:
• Prior experience with ERP systems on any platform.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
• Exposure to integration middleware like Boomi or Celigo.
• Knowledge of finance, inventory, or supply chain business domains.
