Head of Platform (Technical Sales)
Salary: £65-85k

Connect IT has partnered with a leading FinTech company and we are actively recruiting for a Technical Sales Head of Platform. This position entails showcasing our clients' technical products and architecture to potential clients and customers. The goal behind this position is to instil confidence in the company's technological infrastructure, overcome any technical objections throughout the sales process, and ultimately contribute to successful sales outcomes.
To achieve this, the ideal candidate should possess a keen eagerness to utilize both their technical expertise and sales abilities. This includes the capability to gather business requirements, formulate a strategic approach for technical sales, and proficiently exhibit solutions that meet these requirements while delivering tangible business benefits.
Responsibilities
·Understand and communicate the company's value proposition, offerings, and messages to clients and partners.
·Build strategic relationships with financial sector customers and identify platform integration opportunities.
·Generate leads through various channels, collaborating with partners for sales opportunities.
·Showcase the Platform's technology infrastructure expertise.
·Qualify opportunities, present solutions, and negotiate to overcome challenges.
·Assist in crafting client proposals in response to RFPs.
·Lead the company platform sales cycle, focusing on revenue generation strategies.
·Provide accurate sales forecasts and undergo the necessary training.
·Maintain a high level of daily activity, including calls, meetings, and demos.
·Undertake overseas travel to visit clients, and prospects, and represent the company at events.
·Analyze competitor profiles and stay current on market developments.
·Collaborate with other departments, including client services, platform development, compliance, and finance.
Requirements
·Over 5 years of high-tech quota sales experience, with experience in field sales.
·Extensive experience in managing intricate sales cycles
·E-commerce background in both business and technical aspects within the financial software sector.
·Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
·Demonstrated excellence in generating and closing new sales opportunities.
