.NET Solution Architect (Remote, Canada)

Role Description:
As the inaugural strategic hire in Canada, the.NET Solution Architect will lead interactions with clients, acting as the primary contact responsible for delivery, fostering client relationships, and supervising the project team. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on coding, and effective stakeholder management through close collaboration with clients. The successful candidate will work alongside the client's internal staff and product teams, serving as their strategic delivery partner and trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
·Accountable for the design and delivery of solutions
·Manage interactions with external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and business goals understood
·Support the sales team with pre-sales activities, particularly in pre-sales architecture for potential clients
·Oversee and mentor development teams
·Engage in hands-on coding in C#/.NET for some projects
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills and Experience:
·Extensive experience in designing and building custom medium/large and/or enterprise applications for external clients
·Strong stakeholder management skills
·Proficiency in workload prioritisation and management
·Expertise in C#/.NET
·Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
·Proficiency in microservices architecture
·Experience with NoSQL databases
·Familiarity with agile working and test-driven development
·Experience in Domain-Driven Design, defining bounded contexts and subdomains, and using aggregate roots and domain events
Nice-to-Have Skills:
·Expertise in MongoDB
·Experience with modern frontend technologies

·Strong delivery focus with excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
