Business Systems & Reporting Specialist

Are you a systems expert with a passion for data evolution? We are seeking a versatile Business Systems & Reporting Specialist to join our client’s team during an
exciting period of digital transformation. This unique role offers a clear two-phase career path: initially providing critical support for our existing business systems and reporting during a major ERP implementation, then transitioning into a specialised Data, Reporting & BI role focused on advanced analytics and dashboarding.
The Role
• Phase 1 Focus: Support and maintain ERP, BI, PIM, and databases while ensuring data integrity and resolving system issues.
• Phase 2 Focus: Post-ERP go-live, you will pivot to optimizing data pipelines, managing data warehouse environments, and designing high-impact dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
• System Support: Maintain existing business systems and integrations to ensure smooth operational performance.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop operational reports and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights.
• Data Architecture: Maintain and optimize pipelines to the data warehouse and work within modern data platforms.
• Dashboard Design: Create and maintain sophisticated Qlik dashboards to visualize key metrics.
• Governance: Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all reporting environments.
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in business systems support and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik or similar BI tools (dashboard design is essential).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and an understanding of integration tools/data flows.
• Highly adaptable with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
• Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Azure Data Services, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Exposure to API integrations and automation tools.
