Business Development Sales Specialist

Location: Chicago - Hybrid working model: 4 days in the office during training, reducing to 3 days post-training.

Salary: Up to $55,000 per year.

We seek a Junior Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognised fintech organization specialising in cutting-edge fund selection and portfolio management solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with decision-makers from top-tier Asset Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices, and more.

- Initiate and nurture relationships with Analysts, Portfolio Managers, COOs, and CIOs.

- Communicate the value of innovative analytical software to help clients achieve higher returns.

- Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging.

- Support the senior sales team throughout the sales process.

- Maintain and manage the CRM database, ensuring its effectiveness for sourcing leads.

- Stay informed on market trends and client needs, using this knowledge to develop marketing content.

Requirements:

- A recent graduate with coursework in business, finance, accounting, economics, or financial engineering.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in cold calling or telemarketing.

- Proven success in a sales role, preferably within the finance sector.

- A competitive spirit—experience in sports or similar team-oriented activities is a plus.
