Quality Assurance Tester

A partnership between Connect IT Recruitment and a leading digital products provider has resulted in an opportunity for a motivated and diligent QA Tester to join their skilled and dynamic development team.
Key Responsibilities
•Test Planning: Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to grasp project requirements and formulate comprehensive test plans and test cases.
•Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases to pinpoint and report software defects, ensuring the compliance of all features with quality standards.
•Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to augment testing efficiency and coverage.
•Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements across various software releases.
•Performance Testing: Evaluate and report on the performance and scalability of software applications.
•User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Manage and support UAT activities with clients to ensure alignment with their requirements.
•Defect Management: Document and monitor defects using issue tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
•Documentation: Create and sustain comprehensive test documentation, encompassing test plans, test cases, and test reports.
•Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancement initiatives, advocating best practices in software quality assurance.
What do we need from you?
•Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.
•Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
•Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is advantageous.
•Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, Audit Systems, or website development is beneficial but not obligatory.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality software.
•Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•Experience working in an Agile environment.
•Experience in the public sector, particularly in safeguarding, schools, or healthcare, is a substantial advantage.
