Job Title: MIS Support Consultant

Location: West London

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 FTE dependent on experience

We are working with a long-standing client of ours and we are seeking a highly skilled MIS/Bromcom & SIMS Support Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will provide expert assistance to schools and Academy Trusts in utilizing Bromcom, SIMS, and other MIS software. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing school processes, including timetabling, options, curriculum planning, exams, and assessment. There is a requirement that you have some form of experience supporting secondary schools for this position.

Responsibilities:

·Providing high-level support to schools through telephone helpdesk and remote support for Bromcom, SIMS, and other MIS software.

·Offering MIS consultancy services to schools, both on-site and through online platforms.

·Developing and delivering comprehensive MIS training courses and briefings, including face-to-face sessions and webinars.

·Delivering specialized support tailored to the needs of secondary schools and our team.

·Providing strategic guidance to Senior Leadership Teams on maximizing the potential of MIS software.

·Creating informative written guidance notes for schools on various aspects of school management information systems.

·Collaborating effectively within the MIS Support Team and contributing to the growth and promotion of the business in line with our company values and ethos.

Requirements:

·Existing knowledge of and demonstrated expertise in using or supporting Bromcom or SIMS software.

·Hands-on experience with Bromcom/SIMS Nova-T/similar for timetabling and Exams.

·Familiarity with secondary-specific Bromcom or SIMS modules, including Course Manager, Lesson Monitor, and Post-16 census.

·Proven understanding of the use of assessment software in schools to track students' attainment and achievement.

·Track record of successful teamwork, meeting deadlines, and achieving objectives.

·Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
