As a Control Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining audio-visual systems, including sound systems, video systems and control systems. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless and reliable operation of audio-visual equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and design audio-visual systems that meet their needs. This includes selecting appropriate hardware and software components.
·Develop and write code to program and control audio-visual equipment, including audio processors, video switchers, lighting controllers, and touch panel interfaces.
·Conduct thorough testing to ensure that audio-visual systems function as intended. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
·Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep audio-visual systems up to date and in optimal condition.
·Create comprehensive documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals to aid in system operation and future maintenance.
·Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of audio-visual projects.
·Provide training and support to end-users and clients, ensuring they can operate audio-visual systems effectively.
·Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in audio-visual systems to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
·Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in audio-visual control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron, Control4).
·Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment
·Familiarity with network protocols and communication interfaces
·Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
·Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
·Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
·Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
·Certifications in audio-visual programming and technology (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer, Extron Control Professional) are a plus.
