Business Development Executive

Salary: Up to £37,000 + OTE & attractive benefits package (25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday increasing with service, Healthcare, Enhanced maternity, hybrid working, and more!

Location: Christchurch

Connect Group Recruitment is partnered with a unique growing cloud solution business that is undergoing the start of digital transformation and scaling up.

They’re seeking an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives in the technology industry. In this crucial role, you will play a central part in their Sales team, strategically qualifying incoming leads from marketing, technical channels, and partners.

Skills

·You will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to seek out new opportunities.

·3+ years of successful business development experience, ideally within a technical environment.

·Able to clearly articulate value and build strong relationships.

·A consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering strong results.

·Experience selling Software, SaaS, and/or Professional Services is essential.

·Highly driven, assertive, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

·Can identify and cultivating new business opportunities.

·Adaptable & Collaborative: Quick to learn, eager to adapt to new challenges, and thrives both independently and within a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

·Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to execute effective lead generation strategies.

·Proactively identify, target, and engage new business opportunities within mid-market and enterprise segments.

·Develop sales pipeline through a combination of strategic cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and leveraging market intelligence to consistently over-achieve targets.

·Build strong working relationships with Technical, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.

·Participate in relevant training to enhance company, industry, competitive landscape, and sales knowledge.

·Actively participate in internal meetings to refine sales processes, solve challenges, and stay informed on company updates.

·Serve as a public representative and image builder in the local community, networking and enhancing company presence.

·Build targeted prospecting lists on LinkedIn by industry sector and actively grow company followers.
