Role: Senior FullStack Developer
Salary: Up to £80k Dependant on experience
Location: Berkshire, UK
Working Pattern: Remote
Connect IT has partnered with a leading Software Solutions Provider who is looking to add an experienced FullStack Developer to their Dev Team.
This rare opportunity is a fully remote position with very occasional visits to HQ for planning sessions. Please note that eligible candidates need to permanently reside in the UK and that this role does not offer sponsorship options.
Responsibilities
·Develop code for product/system development, including both backend and frontend components.
·Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to make technology decisions.
·Review code created by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices such as style guidelines, accuracy, testability, security, and efficiency.
·Contribute to documentation and educational content, updating it as needed based on product/program updates and user feedback.
·Investigate and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and assessing their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
·Assist in assessing, elaborating, and estimating Epics/Stories as part of the planning process.
·Support the Product Management function in achieving overall product objectives and goals.
·Establish expertise in the product, market, relevant technology, and competition within the business.
·Promote the product both internally and externally
Required Skills and Experience
·Proficient in developing code using Python, Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, Bootstrap, RabbitMQ, Celery, PostgreSQL, REST APIs
·Skilled in both backend and frontend development, demonstrating a willingness to work on both aspects.
·Additional expertise in AWS, Apache Kafka, Event Driven Architecture, and Microservice Architecture is advantageous.
·Demonstrated experience in software development using various programming languages and knowledge of data structures/algorithms.
·Track record of testing, maintaining, and launching software products, coupled with at least one year of experience in software design and architecture.
·Proficient in collaborating with remote UK and overseas teams.
·Familiarity working in an Agile environment.
