Product Owner (Fintech, Payment, Embedded Software)

Salary: up to £85k (depending on relevant experience) plus an expectational benefits package such as private healthcare, home working, flexible hours, 25 days holiday and more.

Location: London (3 days home / 2 days office)

Responsibilities

Work with external clients, internal SMEs and third parties to understand and communicate product requirements to the delivery team.

Communicate product delivery feasibility and limitations to product team

Backlog management & prioritisation – own the backlog. Working intimately with the delivery team to decide the order of work, taking into account all appropriate views and inputs, and agree on story acceptance criteria

Business value realisation (i.e. outcomes) - measuring the outcome of changes to assess and conclude on the results

Story acceptance and sign off – ensuring that changes implemented have had the desired impact and will deliver the desired value

Requirements

Proficient research, analytical, and logical thinking and reasoning skills and experience in a technical environment

Successful experience with requirements gathering/documentation, software design concepts, and database modelling

Proficient knowledge and experience in understanding and analysing client work processes, including technical requirements, and related activities, system specifications, and prototypes

Demonstrate solid communication skills with a wide range of clients, both internal and external, from technical to non-technical, including presentation skills and technical documentation.

Experience working with teams based across several locations and time zones

Knowledge and understanding of the full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing, implementation documentation/scripting/querying/reporting exhibiting knowledge of client’s source data and processes
