Role: General Manager

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, Office Based

Connect IT has partnered with a leading distribution and manufacturing company who are looking to add an experienced General Manager to one of their highest-grossing divisions.

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of logistics, someone who can spot opportunities for growth with clients and within the development of the team.

Experience working in Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Procurement would be an advantage.


·Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to nurture their development, offer guidance, and address any concerns they may have.

·Manage and resolve delivery issues and customer inquiries received via email within the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA)

·Clearly articulate performance expectations to employees, fostering a shared understanding of their roles, and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

·Analyze key productivity metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement, devising and executing action plans to optimize team performance.

·Take the lead in overseeing and cultivating the productivity and performance of Internal Account Supports, ensuring consistent achievement of goals and targets.

·Collaborate closely with the Purchasing team to ensure the timely receipt of goods required for orders, demonstrating a strong grasp of business processes and efficient workload coordination in supply chain management.

·Utilize ERP, CRM, and data management software to guarantee the accurate and timely management of orders.

·Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of various order processing procedures and channels used in the business.

·Collaborate proactively with internal teams to prevent order errors and ensure precise order processing.

·Professionally and efficiently handle customer inquiries over the phone, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
