Account Manager
Salary:Up to £60k basic, £100k OTE
Location: Liphook and Hybrid after probation
Connect Group are recruiting for a global business based in Liphook that are recruiting for an Account Manager/Business Development position. They are looking for a 'hunter' to support in growing the business. While a portion of the role is focused on renewing existing clients, you will also be responsible for selling to other teams within our client base and identifying potential new clients.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
Provide expert product knowledge and solutions to client needs
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience
Achieve sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications
Proven track record in account management or sales within a B2B environment
Strong understanding of the financial services industry, preferably with experience in capital markets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in CRM software and sales methodologies
