Senior Systems Architect

🌍 Remote across Europe | 💼 Permanent | Senior / Principal

We’re working with an innovative deep-tech technology company developing advanced, high-performance systems and are looking for a Senior Systems Architect to join their growing engineering team.

The Role

• Define system architecture across hardware, firmware and software

• Design high-performance, low-latency and real-time systems

• Define system requirements, interfaces and technical specifications

• Work across FPGA/SoC, embedded software and digital systems

• Support system modelling, integration and validation

• Solve complex challenges around scalability, timing and system performance

• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Help shape the technical direction of next-generation products

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar

• 8+ years’ experience in systems architecture or a related senior engineering role

• Experience within deep-tech, advanced technology, semiconductor, instrumentation or complex engineering environments

• Strong hardware/software co-design experience

• Experience with real-time and low-latency systems

• Strong FPGA/SoC knowledge

• Understanding of high-speed digital systems and signal processing

• Experience defining system requirements and technical architectures

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
