A newly funded, venture-backed AI healthtech startup is hiring a Founding Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, elite team building category-defining technology from the ground up.

The Mission
The company is building smartphone-based health screening technology that uses AI to detect biomarkers through:
Facial analysis
Voice signals
Motion patterns
Behavioural data
Their vision is to make preventative healthcare radically more accessible and become the front door to the future of healthcare.
The Role
This is not a narrow feature-delivery position.
You’ll be a core founding engineer with significant ownership across product development, platform engineering, architecture, and execution.
What You’ll Be Working On
Building backend systems and customer-facing products end-to-end
Developing scalable APIs and platform services
Shipping full-stack product features across frontend and backend
Working directly with founders on roadmap, priorities, and product direction
Defining engineering standards, tooling, and best practices
Using AI tools and automation to increase development velocity
Influencing system architecture as the platform scales
What They’re Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong backend engineering skills with Python / FastAPI
Strong frontend skills with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
Experience in startups or high-ownership environments
Strong product instincts and a bias for action
Experience with CI/CD, testing, and modern engineering practices
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Builder mentality, low ego, high standards
Nice to Have
AI / LLM / ML product experience
Mobile development experience (Flutter ideal)
Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP or AWS)
Experience in regulated sectors such as HealthTech or FinTech
