I’m partnering with a VC-backed early-stage B2B SaaS company building AI-powered compliance infrastructure for a regulated healthcare market.
They’re solving a complex, high-value problem where clinical, operational, and compliance teams still rely heavily on manual workflows, fragmented systems, and document-heavy review processes.
The platform uses AI to enable faster, safer, and more auditable decision-making — combining workflow automation, structured data extraction, and AI-assisted compliance operations.
They’re now looking for a Founding AI Engineer to work directly with the founding team and help shape the AI architecture, product direction, and engineering foundations from day one.
What You’ll Be Working On
Building LLM-powered workflows, agents, and RAG pipelines
Structured extraction and document intelligence systems
AI evaluations, monitoring, reliability, and quality control
Full-stack product development using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
Backend APIs and secure production infrastructure
Rapid product iteration driven by real customer feedback
What They’re Looking For
Strong hands-on engineering experience across modern web and backend systems
Commercial experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
Practical experience building with:
LLMs
RAG architectures
Agents and orchestration frameworks
Embeddings and vector search
AI evals and infrastructure
Comfortable owning ambiguous technical problems end-to-end
Product-minded, pragmatic, and able to move quickly in an early-stage environment
Nice to Have
Experience or interest in:
HealthTech
RegTech / Compliance
AI governance
